• Considering the fact that Amara can't drive and is not wearing shoes, she still managed to get from Crowley's lair to Fall River,Massachusetts.
• Not every soulless person behaves the same way, and not all of them give in to evil.

• The exterior of the Borden house in this episode looks nothing like the actual Lizzie Borden house. But the sweatshirt Dean looks at in the gift shop depicts the actual house.
  
• Soulless people can't "feel", but Len seems able to. Once he learns his soul is missing, he even says that it "feels good" to finally know the truth.
• "Molly's Hatchet Room" is the name of the bar where Amara and Sydney met in the parking lot. "Molly Hatchet" is also the name of a rock band.
