  • Crowley has entered the bunker several times in recent seasons -- including during the season 11 finale. When was the last time the bunker was truly warded against him?
  • Why didn't Sam tell Dean that he was planning to call Mick?
  • When angels possess a vessel, they access the person's memories, so why wouldn't Lucifer know how to be president?
  • Was Lucifer a virgin before this episode? After he'd slept with Kelly the first time, he said "It's almost like I've never done that before."
  • What will Kelly do about her pregnancy? Will the angels try to kill her to prevent her Nephilim abomination from being born?
  • Mr. Ketch suggests that Castiel can tell when someone is lying. But the Winchesters (and others) have successfully lied to Castiel before. If he has this ability, why doesn't he use it more often.
  • Is Lucifer truly back inside the cage? Or have the Winchesters been tricked?
  • Were the Winchesters planning to get arrested? They didn't seem surprised; and in the truck, they looked at each other as if they have a plan
  • In Supernatural lore, being possessed by an archangel usually leaves you drooling and in a wheelchair (or worse); what are the odds that the president will recover fully?

  • Rowena is apparently a con woman now, looking for a wealthy man to marry
  • Despite not wanting to work together, Castiel and Crowley seem effective as partners
  • Crowley apparently has contacts everywhere -- including at the highest levels of government.
  • Before he was ejected, Lucifer was planning to nuke Eastern European rebels in Belarus, and pardon Charles Manson
  • The British Men of Letters still say they want to help the American hunters deal with the monsters in this country

  • In reality, a Roman Catholic priest would not be permitted to perform an exorcism without first getting authorization from the Vatican, who would likely have sent its own exorcist(s) to perform the ritual
  • The president and his associates stayed at the Forester Estate in Indianapolis. The actual building where the episode was filmed is an estate -- apparently Prince William and Kate Middleton have stayed there. There is an actual Forester Estate -- it's a winery in Australia
  • When Mr. Ketch intercepts the secret service men and the Winchesters, it's still daylight. But when we see him talking to Castiel and the Winchesters after the explosions, night has fallen. What were they doing all that time? Burying bodies and hiding the SUV?
