- Did Jack bring the books back to the bunker that he took to show the local teens?
- How much of Jack's soul is left?
- Did Jack save the girl because he felt truly bad about accidentally hurting her? Or did he save her so that it would be harder for Sam and Dean to find out what he'd been up to?
- Does Sam feel any better about the bunker as his home as little time has passed since the AU hunters were killed there?
- Will Sheriff Romero ever tell his son the truth?
- Will Eliot, Max, and Stacy keep the secret about what Jack can do with his powers?
- Why did Jack lie to Sam and Dean about what happened with him while they were hunting?
- Will Jack ever tell Sam and Dean what really happened when they were away? (I have a feeling they'll find out; teenagers can't keep big secrets that well.)

| - There are still monsters out there that Sam and Dean have never seen before.
- There are large tracts of forest in Iowa.
- Jack, though still seeming to be innocent, is now quite capable of lying to cover his own ass.
- Cass, who can go anywhere at any time in the blink of an eye, sometimes needs to take a break and get out of the bunker.
- Jack tells the teens from Lebanon that they have movie night in the bunker every Tuesday and Dean picks the movie. Dean especially likes "The Lost Boys".
- Dean is teaching Jack his musical preferences and teaching him that the only good music is classic rock.
- The teens in Lebanon are clueless about classic rock.
- Jack is not confused or bothered by the Lebanon teen girls' same-sex relationship.
- Jack apparently craves acceptance.
- Though wary of Jack's full powers, Sam and Dean decide they trust and respect him enough to tell him the truth of why they decided to leave him behind on this hunt.
- Sam lectures the Sheriff about how you can't tell the world that monsters are real so that they can defend themselves because even if they know what they're doing, people will die; revealing that the deaths of the AU hunters in the bunker at the hands of Michael are still very much on his mind.
- Sam and Dean are okay with leaving Jack with all his power on his own...even interacting with people in town??????????????????????
- The teens from Lebanon think that a group of guys living together in the bunker must be surrounded my tissues (all the masturbation) and the scent of Old Spice.
- Max thinks Dean is old.
- Jack decides to pass himself off as being age 22 when he's really more like 22 months old.
- Perhaps we already knew this, but full-power Jack has some awesome abilities to move things and throw things and heal things with his mind.

| - This is the first time Jack has used his angel healing powers to heal the girl he accidentally stabbed. At least the first time he healed someone since he's been alive and not in utero.
- The kohonta monster is created a lot like a wendigo is created; from a starving human who resorted to cannibalism to survive, but the kohonta is cursed before it reaches the point of turning into a wendigo.
- Dean references the historic case of the Donner party who became cannibals to avoid winter starvation.
- Jack says that it's illegal in the Haitian criminal code to turn someone into a zombie. That is true.
- The Sheriff's last name is Romero and Jack is reading a book in the bunker that refers to Haitian laws surrounding zombies; perhaps a direct reference to director George Romero and Night of the Living Dead?

| - Sam tells the Sheriff that you can't tell people the truth about monsters because even if they have the knowledge, they'll still die; a reference to the AU hunters dying in the bunker at the hands of Michael.
- The local teens ask Jack if he's some kind of Jedi. Star Wars reference.
- Teen Eliot is watching the Ghostfacers on his phone and is a bit of a fan. This appears to be an old video of them.
- The author of Eliot's Monsters, Myths, and Magic book is Jerry Wanek; Supernatural's set designer.
- When Dean tells Jack that it's his mission, should he choose to accept it, to restock the bunker with groceries, he's referencing the Mission Impossible series.
- Jack compares his use of the angel blade, or how to fight with it, to a Star Wars light saber. He also says his powers are kinda like those of a Jedi.
- Dean tells Jack he wants to make sure his powers are under control so he doesn' t go all "X-Men" on a hunt.
- When the Kohonta monster kind of liquifies at the end, Dean describes the moment as "full on Raiders" like the scene in the first Raiders of the Lost Ark movie where the Nazi villains melt when face to face with the splendor of the opened Ark of the Covenant.

| - No notable classic rock but we do hear the Ghostfacers theme briefly on Eliot's phone.
